instant bedhead hair and volume - Schwarzkopf mess it up

Saturday 14 May 2011

The hairdressers love to add this product to finish my hair giving it volume and creating separated pieces. It was not until my recent colouring trip the lovely Mel done a excellent blow dry and used it on my hair made me realise how I needed to go purchase the product immediately. It dries matt and last until the next wash.
Here’s photo of me doing my own hair and a video demo

I brought mine from Sally’s, but if you can’t find a local store you can buy it from feelunique.com with free posting.

Living Nature Manuka Honey Rescue gel review

Living Nature
Product Name: Rescue gel
Weight/Price:  10ml for £7.99
Made in: N/A
Where to buy: mypure

Product Description:
Formulated with Manuka Oil and Honey renowned for its healing properties, it’s a soothing fast drying gel for superficial cuts, grazes and skin irritations and blemish prone skin. This 10ml tube is a great size for the cosmetic bag.

Full Ingredients
Aqua (water), Mel (manuka honey), Leptospermum scoparium oil (manuka oil), Sclerotium gum, Citrus grandis seed extract (grapefruit seed extract), Phormium tenax leaf juice (NZ flax gel), Tocopherol (vitamin E), Xanthan gum, Melaleuca alternifolia oil (tea tree oil)

Personal Experience: The product comes in a small 10ml tube in a box simple packaging design using black on white. My initial thought was what are the benefits of honey to heal blemishes? It’s a small tube but a little goes a long way. A small squirt covers the spots on my left side of the face. The products contains honey and tea tree. Tree tea is often found in most spot products, it smells gorgeous and the honey is quite overpowering.  I use the product just before I go to bed, although over the month my spots haven’t completed disappeared I noticed the spots shrinking turning into small pus. I know myself these spots are hormonal spots and there’s not much I can do about them. For now I can say I need to be patient and wait longer to see if it completely disappears. I think this product works fantastic to shrink spots and slowly the skin surface is starting to renew itself, I also wanted to point out I have been using new skincare by pure nuff care for blemish skin which is also aiding with the blemish control.

Price: 5/5
Quality: 5/5
Packaging: 5/5
Overall: 5/5

Pros:
Little goes a long way
only used 10% of the product over the month

Cons:
spots haven’t completely disappeared
Would I re-purchase again? Yes, defiantly most spot treatment cost around £5, £7.99 is a great price and the product seems to be working great on me.
